Decisions should be made. Choices should be done. But a lot of things need to be considered. Each one should be carefully weighed. Which ones are more compelling? Which of the options is better than the other?

On each day of our lives we are trapped with making decisions. It’s usually this or that. We can never choose both. We have to at least pick one and make the most out of that choice. Before making choices, we tend to lay down all the cards. The pros and the cons are equally laid to see which outweighs the other.

Is there a need to go? What holds me from going? I guess I know you are a big part of that. The fear that happiness may not be there is quite daunting. I’ll never leave for a place I know that I won’t be happy. Leaving has always been an option but the idea of not having to go really heightens. I don’t want to leave since because of various reasons – 30% is the uncertainty of life, 30% is family and 40% is YOU. But are you really just 40%? Maybe I’m just fooling myself that you are just 40 well indeed you are something more. Or maybe, just maybe, you’re the only reason why I can’t….

The official portraits of the candidates have been released and there were several shots that really stood out. With the competition heating up, here are my picks for the best of the best.

MY EARLY FAVORITES ON RUPAUL'S SEASON 12

RuPaul's Drag Race finally is back with its 12th season and this time in the first two episodes alone, I feel every single contestant is strong. Well, it could potentially change as we go along the episodes. But of the 13 drag queens vying for the title, I have 3 favorites who I wish and see would do well this season.

1. Gigi Goode

My best bet for this season is Gigi Goode. This goofy and funny queen did well in the first episode finishing in the Top 2 showing that she is someone that has it all. She is fashionable but goofy as well and her performance in the lip-sync is not the usual tumbles and splits like most ladies do but she still made sure she delivered a jaw-dropping performance. This leggy fashion queen is very young at 21 but she is here to slay. For now, she is my favorite to win.

2. Jaida Essence Hall

This queen has made sure everyone will look for her after the second episode. As part of the second batch of ladies introduced this season, she instantly made an impact and topping the week with her great performance over-all from fashion, talent and a great lip-sync number making her win the 2nd episode. I believe she exudes confidence and glamour and could not wait for more of her. She is truly one to watch for.

3. Rock M. Sakura

Rock M. Sakura’s aesthetic is a combination of anime, manga and anything pink. She is full of high-bursting energy and she is a bundle of joy and humor. Although I worry that her fashion sense may hinder her progress in the series, I still think that with her personality, she can do well.

And the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is turning out to be a battle of the best and the fittest. Just before the end of February, the girls made their runway challenge in Taguig wearing their best black ensemble while strutting their way in the street runway challenge. And here are my top picks from that day. This only factors in the performance of the ladies during that day - from over-all runway look and also their presence and chic in the runway.

1. Ysabella Ysmael (Paranaque)

This beautiful ballerina made great impression in the runway and she wowed audiences with her gorgeous looks and her over-all presence doing the catwalk. Since the press presentation, she has been part of the top of the leaderboards.

2. Kimberly Hakenson (Cavite)

Another strong contender in the making is Cavite bet Kimberly. She has slowly gained momentum after a solid press presentation. She followed it with a great glam shot and then continued her strong showing in the runway challenge.

3. Alaiza Malinao (Davao City)

Fashion veteran Alaiza Malinao never fails to impress. And she just did all the right stuff during the runway challenge. Her runway look and walk were both strong and was one of most applauded girls during that day.

4. Maria Isabela Galeria (Sorsogon)

Another consistently strong candidate is Miss Sorsogon Maria Isabela Galeria. She had one of the strongest walks during that day and she has issued a firm warning that she is here to fight for the crown. 

5. Apriel Smith (Cebu Province)
Another pageant veteran making great progress during the runway challenge was Apriel Smith. This beautiful morena wowed the audiences with her effortless walk and that stunning look during that day. She is slowly making a charge to the top of the leader boards.

6. Jennifer Linda (Palawan)
After a suprising turn at the glam shots, Palawan bet Jennifer Linda kept her momentum going. She presented a well-balanced runway presentation that made more audiences take notice. She is turning to be one of the potential dark horses in this year's competition.

7. Michelle Gumabao (Queezon City)
Early frontrunner Michelle Gumabao is still doing a pretty much consistent showing so far. And probably being one of the beauties with a solid following, she never fails to impress and just did enough to keep her in the mix during the runway challenge.

8. Pauline Amelinckx (Bohol)
Arguably one of the prettier faces in this year's competitions, Pauline backed up her strong glam shot with another solid turn this time at the runways. She was brimming with confidence and elegance as she strutted her way doing her catwalk.

9. Sandra Lemonon (Taguig)
Another one of the few delegates that has shown consistency since the press presentation is Sandra Lemonon. This Taguig representative wowed fans again with her drop dead gorgeous body and a stunning turn with her catwalk.

10. Sigrid Grace Flores (Catanduanes)
Another pageant veteran Sigrid is doing a steady turn at this year's competitions. While we are still waiting for her stellar turn, we all know that this lady has all the potentials.

11. Lou Piczon (Mandaue)
Lou provided one of the best runway walks of the day and that made her steadily rising up the ranks in this year's competitions. We hope that this momentum be carried on as we go along the pageant.

12. Paula Ortega (Albay)
Another solid beauty queen in the ranks is Paula Ortega of Albay. This beautiful lady gave her best in the runway and has grabbed more following after that.

13. Skelly Ivy Florida (Biliran)
After the super strong press presentation. Biliran's Skelly Ivy Florida has somehow fizzled by a bit. Although she remains to be a fan favorite her most recent showing at the runway challenge may have been overshadowed by some. She gave one of the best runway looks but her pasarela is still a work in progress.

14. Ashraf Abd El Hamid (Capiz)
One beauty that suprised in the runway challenge was Miss Capiz. She was stunning with her over-all look and gave a solid runway walk enough to gain praises and attention.

15. Rabiya Mateo (Iloilo City)
It is a bit up and down so far for Iloilo City's campaign so far. But her runway performance was able to land her back in the radar of the potential beauties slugging out for the crown.

16. Trizha Ocampo (La Union)
La Union was a pleasant surprise during the runway challenge and while I did not take notice of her during earlier presentations, she did enough for me to put her in the list of hot picks during that day.

17. Noreen Mangawit (Kalinga)
Another one that is steadily rising up the ranks is Kalinga's representative. She followed her good glam shot with a solid runway walk and look.

18. Bea Theresa P. Maynigo (Baguio City)
Baguio City's bet gave a solid performance in the runway which made her land her spot into the hot picks for that day's challenge.

19. Jo-Ann Flores (Laguna)
Laguna's Jo-Ann Flores is pretty consistent but has not yet shown something that really wows us. However all her recent showings have been solid which keeps her in the list of hot picks.

20. Ivanna Kamil S. Pacis (Makati)
Makati gave one of the more appealing looks during the runway challenge which kept some of the eyes of watchers glued saying that she can be a potential surprise for this year's competitions.

BTS DROPS SURPRISE MV OF BLACK SWAN

The boys of BTS made a surprise drop yesterday without much notice. They released their official music video to their single "Black Swan" and it was another masterful display of artistry. And clearly the boys just don't want their Armys to breathe.

BTS previously released an art film for “Black Swan” performed by MN Dance Company, a contemporary, fusion, and urban dance collective based in Slovenia. The new music video relies heavily on its contemporary roots showing the exquisite dancing skills of the boys highlighted by the effortless display of dancing talent of Jimin. The MV also features the Jungian shadow concept, the underlying theme behind the new album.

LADY GAGA DROPS NEWEST VIDEO: STUPID LOVE

Little monsters rejoice! Lady Gaga is back and back in a big way. She dropped her latest single and latest music video for "Stupid Love" which is part of her forthcoming album that seems to be called "Chromatica". And the talented superstar once again moved back to her pop dance roots with this new offering much to the delight of her fans.

The music video features Gaga and a horde of dancers clad in pink that seemingly feels like Mad Max in candy. The catchy tune and the bopping choreography makes you wanna go and dance to the tune. And this is a reminder that Gaga is part of music royalty and is here to stay for long.

Another wonderful and jaw-dropping news is that Lady Gaga's brand new music video for her song Stupid Love was shot entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro. This video is part of Apple's 'Shot on iPhone' campaign.

HOT PICKS: MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES 2020 GLAM SHOTS

The Miss Universe 2020 competitions went into high gear with the release of their glam shots and I would have to say that some surprised us with over-all look and projection. This year's ladies make for probably one of the strongest pageant ladies we have seen. This early, no one is a clear favorite and a lot of names are being thrown as potential winner. By the glam shots alone, here are the 20 beautiful women that stood out for me in my second hot picks.

1. Paula Ortega (Albay)

Clad in her high fashion red ensemble, Paula has glamorous written all over her. She is also one of the few ones that showed minimal skin but still managed to pull off a sexy yet edgy presence.

2. Kimberly Hakenson (Cavite)

This Cavite representative certainly did well combining edgy and femininity even with her short hair-do. She is turning out to be one of the dark horses this early on the competition.

3. Maria Isabela Galeria (Sorsogon)

Clad in pink gown, Isabela showed beauty and consistency and her glam shot is one of the well loved and commented photo of the bunch.

4. Ysabella Ysmael (Paranaque)

Ballerina beauty Ysabella continues to shine and even with her yellow/golden dress she managed to stand out with even the golden backdrop which shows how eye-catching she is.

5. Alaiza Malinao (Davao City)

Another one of the early front runners is Alaiza and she certainly showed people of her strong fashion roots. She rocked this glam shot and everyone is talking about her.

6. Pauline Amelinckx (Bohol)

Arguably one of the prettier faces in the competition, Pauline gave us fierce yet elegant in this wonderful glam shot of hers.

7. Noreen Mangawit (Kalinga)

Completely surprising me this round is Noreen from Kalinga. I did not put her in the initial list of hot picks from the press presentation but she certainly slayed this glam shot.

8. Michelle Gumabao (Queezon City)

Crowd favorite Gumabao remains one of the stronger ladies in the pack and although I find this gown a bit unflattering she still managed to deliver in terms of presence in her glam shot.

9. Jennifer Linda (Palawan)

Another strong morena starting to make noise in the pageant is Miss Palawan. Jennifer took a simplistic yet elegant approach in her glam photo.

10. Skelly Ivy Florida (Biliran)

This beautiful barbie turned heads at the press presentation and delivered a solid shot this time around. Although I am not wowed by this gown.

11. Apriel Smith (Cebu Province)

Apriel looked fierce in this glam shot and has shown she is here to battle for the crown. She is one of the steady ladies who show consistency so far.

12. Jo-Ann Flores (Laguna)

This simple blue gown worked for Miss Laguna. And with her gorgeous face and simple styling over-all this shot was a success.

13. Christelle Abello (Aklan)

Miss Aklan is one of the few contestants that did a slightly back fronting pose but she made it really work. Christelle is solidly going up the ranks.

14. Sandra Lemonon (Taguig)

Sandra is hands down one of the sexier ladies in the bunch and that is already a given. But somehow she managed to deliver a solid glam shot that is less sexy but more glamorous.

15. Sigrid Grace Flores (Catanduanes)

Sigrid's white gown blended well with her which made her and the gown stand out at the same time. Pageant veteran Sigrid is keeping up the pace for this year.

16. Zandra Sta. Maria (Pasay)

Miss Pasay is another one of ladies with short locks but she did well in exuding confidence and chic in her glam shot making her one of the girls to keep an eye on.

17. Tracy Maureen Perez (Cebu City)

Cebu has been one of the places that always deliver in pageants and Tracy keeps the trend. In this simple floral ensemble, she managed to feel elegant and beautiful.

18. We'am Ahmed (Davao Del Norte)

That face is drop-dead gorgeous and that expression of hers makes for a great photo. Never mind that the gown was a bit simple, she still managed to deliver.

19. Christine Silvernale (Angeles City)

Christine sported one of the more unique looking gowns in her glam shot which made wonders for her. She was able to combined a whimsical ensemble and a sexy persona together.

20. Lou Piczon (Mandaue)

Simple but still works, Lou made sure that she was one of the girls to be noticed in this glam photoshoot and I have a feeling she is just starting to blossom through our eyes.
