MY EARLY FAVORITES ON RUPAUL'S SEASON 12

RuPaul's Drag Race finally is back with its 12th season and this time in the first two episodes alone, I feel every single contestant is strong. Well, it could potentially change as we go along the episodes. But of the 13 drag queens vying for the title, I have 3 favorites who I wish and see would do well this season.

1. Gigi Goode

My best bet for this season is Gigi Goode. This goofy and funny queen did well in the first episode finishing in the Top 2 showing that she is someone that has it all. She is fashionable but goofy as well and her performance in the lip-sync is not the usual tumbles and splits like most ladies do but she still made sure she delivered a jaw-dropping performance. This leggy fashion queen is very young at 21 but she is here to slay. For now, she is my favorite to win.

2. Jaida Essence Hall

This queen has made sure everyone will look for her after the second episode. As part of the second batch of ladies introduced this season, she instantly made an impact and topping the week with her great performance over-all from fashion, talent and a great lip-sync number making her win the 2nd episode. I believe she exudes confidence and glamour and could not wait for more of her. She is truly one to watch for.

3. Rock M. Sakura

Rock M. Sakura’s aesthetic is a combination of anime, manga and anything pink. She is full of high-bursting energy and she is a bundle of joy and humor. Although I worry that her fashion sense may hinder her progress in the series, I still think that with her personality, she can do well.

BL SERIES MAKES IT BIG AT THE LINE TV AWARDS 2020

Boy Love series made another successful turn at the Line TV awards. Several of our well loved BL series grabbed victories in major categories during the night. "The Theory of Love" won 2 awards - Most Hearted Content and Best Couple for Gun & Off, a category where they won over fellow BL nominees Tay and New (Dark Blue Kiss). It was a great victory after Saint and Perth won in 2019 (Love By Chance).

The other big BL victory came with Mew and Gulf's win for Best Kiss for TharnType: The Series. They won for the famous foot kiss scene and fans went into uproar with the victory. One of the most underrated BL series of 2019 "He's Coming To Me" won taking the Best Dramatic Scene award accepted by Singto and Ohm.  The Best Viral Scene went to the "Great Men Academy".

The venue was filled with some of our favorite BL personalities. Singto and Krist performed on stage bringing back memories of why we loved Sotus by much. Other notable stars present during the night are Tul (Together with Me), Saint (Love By Chance) and Captain (Love Sick) to name a few. Congrats for a great 2019 for BL series and looking for more great shows this year starting off with Why R U?

LITTLE YORME CONTINUES TO DELIGHT FANS

Fans of It's Showtime continues to be delighted with the newest kid sensation on TV - "Aaron Sunga". Many fans know him as "Little Yorme" and became viral with his videos last year acting like he is a city mayor much like his idol Isko Moreno. The 6-year old Aaron appeared as a surprise guest in the Gandang Gabi Vice episode featuring “Yorme” Isko Moreno.

Since then he has become a regular guest of It's Showtime doing co-hosts duties in their Little Miss U segment. His cuteness, charm and over-all wit has made him an instant darling to a lot of people. It is refreshing to see how the chemistry of "Yorme" and Vice is with their regular interactions during the show. By the looks of it, the future seems bright for this cute little boy.

MEW SUPPASIT FAN MEET IN MANILA A SUCCESS

Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat or just Mew to his legions of fans rejoiced with the recent fan meet of the talented Thai actor in Manila last Saturday at the Teatrino Promenade, Greenhills. Local Pinoy fans and other international fans enjoyed the solo fan meet of the actor. 

Mew's success in recent years have been highlighted by his most recent BL series TharnType with Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong which is regarded as one of the best BL shows in recent years. Mew was greeted by his fans and welcomed warmly in the country. They also gave him an advance birthday present during the event. His birthday is February 21.

The fanmeet was brought to us by Wish Us Luck and was another major success for them. It was a day full of great activities, music and a whole lot of loving for this beloved actor. We are eagerly awaiting for the season 2 of TharnType and looking forward to seeing more of Mew soon together with Gulf as well.

MARCELITO POMOY FINISHES 3RD RUNNER-UP IN AGT: THE CHAMPIONS

Marcelito Pomoy secures 3rd runner-up in the recently concluded America's Got Talent: The Champions. Although the talented singer failed to land the top prize, he has grabbed so much media attention and added legions of fans all across the globe who were left in awe with his mind-bending falsetto transitions from male to female voice.

Pomoy performed "Beauty and the Beast" for the finals and while there were some controversies regarding the song choice, he still delivered an emotional and compelling performance. Prior to that he sang his way in the auditions with "The Prayer" and wowed the judges and fans with "A Time to Say Goodbye" in the semifinals. With the runner-up position, Marcelito becomes the 2nd Pinoy to grab a runner-up spot after Angelica Hale finished 1st runner-up in 2017. 

“America’s Got Talent: The Champions” named the acrobatic dance group V. Unbeatable as its new winner. Sandou Trio Russian Bar placed fourth runner-up, while Tyler Butler-Figueroa and Duo Transcend finished second and first runners-up, respectively.

MALE HOTTIE: DENKHUN NGAMNET

There is a brand new hottie that Filipino fans are eagerly waiting. As soon as the new ABS-CBN series "Burado" was announced, media went into frenzy mode in seeing the newest love team to Nadine Lustre. the gorgeous hot guy is Thai 25 year-old actor and model Denkhun Ngamnet.

The handsome and sexy actor has started acting since 2014 in a support role for "Plerng Chimplee" series. Since then, he has portrayed various roles and made several action drama series in Thailand. At his very young career, he has made quite a name for himself already in his home country and he received his first acting trophy at the 2019 Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in the drama "Krong Kam (Repercussion)".

Aside from "Burado", he also has two Thai series he is working on this 2020 so it would be a very busy year for the actor. Filipinos now have a new Thai actor to stan after Mario Maurer who has made quite a name here in the country as well. And fans could not wait for more as Denkhun is really an eye-candy who oozes appeal and boasts of a handsome face and a great body. Pictures certainly do not lie.

MEWGULF DELIGHTS WITH FAN SERVICE VIDEO

TharnType made legions of fans in the BL world and their two lead actors Mew and Gulf have become one of the hottest BL couples as of now. And avid fans went into hysteria with the release of this ultimate fan service video. The video shows a wedding ceremony wherein Mew and Gulf exchange vows and sweet smiles with each other.

And there's plenty more to rejoice for their avid followers as it was recently announced on one of their fanmeetings that Tharntype will have its second season. So we can have more of the sweet moments of Mew and Gulf.

SURVIVOR WINNERS AT WAR BEGINS

Survivor 40 is up and running and this season promises to be the battle of the heavyweights as we see 20 former champions who will duke it out for the top prize this time around. It took 20 years before such a momentous event like this happened in the land of Survivor but fans all over are gushing and really excited. Jeff Probst promises this season as the best and the most unpredictable of them all.

There is the return of the Edge of Extinction and the addition of a brand new twist in "Fire Tokens" whose importance will be explained further as we go deeper into the season. For the 20 former winners, everyone has a fair chance of winning but some may have stronger chances than the others. The potential early boots may come in the faces of some familiar and famous ones. First may be Sandra Diaz-Twine who is already a double winner which makes her one of the obvious targets early on. Second would be the tandem of Rob and Amber Mariano as fellow contestants may see their relationship as potential threat to the game if they go further. Then the big personality of Tony Vlachos may prove costly for him as others might be easily annoyed by him on the get go. 

That being said, on the flip side of the coin, this season may potentially go to someone that goes under the radar. And three ladies may be up for the potential of winning it if they play their cards right. Sophie Clarke from "Survivor: South Pacific" may be one of the front runners as she is both low-key but likeable at the same time. It's just a matter of aligning with the right people from the start. Another potential sleeper winner who might go under the radar is Michelle Fitzgerald from "Kaoh Rong" who might just sneak into the latter stages. And lastly Danni Boatwright from Guatemala could also surprise us all as one "silent killer" of "giants and greats". 

MARCELITO POMOY ENTERS FINALS OF AGT CHAMPIONS

Former PGT champion Marcelito Pomoy made the Filipino fans proud as he moved into the finals of the America's Got Talent: Champions. He has wowed the 4 judges during the preliminaries as he effortlessly sang "The Prayer" a duet by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, that sent him off to the semis with the Superfans votes.

In the semifinals, he once again received applauses from the audiences and the judges with his performance of the Andrea Bocelli classic "Time To Say Goodbye". With this, he was one of the few contestants who have moved to the finals for the talent competition. Good luck Marcelito!

Jollibee made a stellar move in 2017 with the start of their web series type commercials featuring several important occasions all throughout the year. And arguably their most viewed ones are the Valentines series and also some of the offshoot love related ones (One True Pair). In those years up until now, we have seen several hot guys become media and netizen frenzy. Here are the hottest guys who appeared in Jollibee webseries from 2017 up to now.

1. Vince Vandorpe

Filipino-Belgian model, actor and vlogger made audiences fall in love as he played Jay in the commercial "Choice". This Kapuso artist has dabbled into a few series like "Meant to Be" and "Cain and Abel".

2. Matthias Rhoads

We all know him as the groom that got the girl in the heart-wrenching webseries "Vow". Aside from modeling he has also joined the acting bandwagon in some GMA 7 TV shows.

3. Bryce Dyer

Gorgeous, handsome and really sexy - Bryce Dyer became an instant celebrity with his turn in the Jollibee commercial "Signs". This half-Pinoy model has joined the list of hot endorsers for local brand Human.

4. Benjamin Isaac

Benjamin's star turn in the Jollibee ad "Anniversary" as Jason grabbed him several fans and following. This model gained media attention with his striking good looks but fans were surprised to see how gorgeous his body is as well.

5. Enrico Cuenca

A lot of fans loved Enrico Cuenca. This cute boy next door actor-model made a lot of hearts go in "kilig" mode after his role in "Crush". This Kapuso star has kept himself busy with TV appearances and commercials left and right.

6. Miko Gallardo

This Bidaman Grand Finalist may not have won the top prize on that pageant but he has certainly gained tons of fans and followers. The latest model to join the "Jollibee" love bandwagon in 2020 with the "#CoupleGoals" ad, fans could not help but scream in joy.

7. Mark Joseph Tam

We all cried with and for the the bestfriend that was not chosen in the Jollibee commercial "Vow" which seemingly started this craving for these types of ads. MJ Tam was well loved even as of now and remains one of the most beloved models for the fast food chain.

8. Paco Villegas

"Kapag Gusto May Paraan" was the main catchphrase for the commercial "One True Pair: Fight or Flight". This handsome head-turner continued appearing in other commercials and magazines. 

9. Prince Argel Saycon

Former PBB housemate Prince Argel or Argel as most people know him for joined the Jollibee party of models just this year. We get to see him in the most recent ad "Apart" and there is no wonder in the draw of this hot and handsome hunk.

10. Karl Gabriel

We all got into sympathy mode as well with Paul in the webseries "Choice" as at first we thought he is the one not being chosen but alas to the major twist of events for that ad, it turns out that he is indeed the "first" one. This cutie heartthrob has also gained a solid following after that ad. 

11. Luis De Guzman

We all loved how funny his character of Gio in the ad "One True Pair: Checklist". To date I think he is one of the more beloved and relatable characters in these Jollibee ads through the years.

12. Lance Christopher

Fans also noticed the basketball player boyfriend that was not meant to be the one in the commercial "Crush". This cute dimpled guy gained attention despite not being on the lead part of the said ad.

13. Anthony Sunico

This hottie is well known as former boyfriend of beauty queen Katarina Rodriguez but he also gained attention by himself in the Jollibee ad "Proposal" where he won hearts as the guy that got hurt in love.

14. Kyle Anda

Cute and very innocent looking. Kyle Anda got media attention with his inclusion in the ad "Signs" for the beloved fast food chain.

15. Christian Sambilay

His role may not be as prominent as the other male models in recent Jollibee loved-inspired ads but Christian still had some eyes on him after being in the "Status" webseries.
