Valentine's season is now not complete without our annual dose of Jollibee commercials that will make us feel the love and the sweetness of that emotion. We are now once more treated to 3 more commercials that will make us believe in the magic of love. The three short films for this 2020 are #CoupleGoals, Space and Apart.
#CoupleGoals lets us join couple Matt and Lisa, what little time they have for each other is eaten up by having to document everything on social media. It lets us see the beauty of love and how it should not revolve in social media. It also show the importance of understanding and the difficulties of a relationship between career individuals and how one has to balance between work and love.
Space follows the breakup story of Dan, a funny and dedicated boyfriend before his girlfriend let him go. We are once more shown that sometimes we don't need to be perfect to find "The One" and sometimes what seems like the perfect one is not necessarily what is best for each of us.
Apart is about Myles and Ron. Myles, a strong independent woman can live her life in her own terms, at times forgetting that she has a partner in Ron. We are reminded that sometimes second chances do work and that those are opportunities to iron out any difficulties encountered during the first time.
It's the season for love again.
