And the Philippine Fashion Week has become even bigger. This time around, famed Korean-American brand "Forever 21" joins the fray to showcase their select pieces for the Holiday 2011 collection. The SMX Function Rooms 2 & 3 are filled with lots of people and man, they did not disappoint.
"Forever 21" focused more on color blocking and color manipulations. All the designs are eye-catchers and definitely fun to watch. The presence of plaids, prints and layers are evident on the collections presented to the crowd. Their designs are getting more of the American feel in comparison to their roots which is generally more Korean-inspired.
The entire collection was cool, fun and funky. There are a lot of wearable pieces and I 'd love to have some of those for my own. Need to head back to the gym first before I can strut my best pose. The general feel of the entire show was simple yet fun and unique. It has succeeded in making the crowd wanna wear their clothes. I know as of now, most of the designs are already in their stores.
