MOVIE REVIEW: TANGLED

One of the most often forgotten fairy tale princess Rapunzel has finally made her mark in cinemas. The question is was it worth the wait? The answer is a definite YES!

Tangled brings us the story of Rapunzel in a modern retelling that lets us join the princess in her search for the outside world through the help of an unlikely "prince charming" , the thief Flynn Ryder. The movie lets us join the 2 as they try to escape the people running after Flynn and also get out of the grips of Rapunzel's stepmother who has long trapped her in the tower.

What made Tangled hit is its comedic appeal and its love story premise. This is not the ordinary princess story coz Rapunzel can surely know how to have fun and can kick butts or two. Mandy Moore providing the voice for Rapunzel was really fit as she effortlessly portrayed the naiveness and innocence of the character. Flynn was voiced on the other hand by Zachary :Levi.

Another wonderful thing about this movie is the soundtrack which boasts of songs that are either super fun or just simply enchanting. I personally love "Healing Incantation" and "I See The Light" which I think should have won for the Best Original Song at the Oscars. 4 out 5 popcorns!
