PFW DAY 5: LITO PEREZ FILIPINIANA SET

Function Room 4 was just filled with the right number of people. I guess a lot of people are there at the Main Atrium for Lee's show. I'd drop by that show for awhile but won't be there for long as I need to go to the Penshoppe show at a later time. So after Junjun Cambe's set, it is Lito Perez' time to grace the runway with his collection.

Lito's set is something to be proud of. I felt a huge pride in being a Filipino. His designs were obvious to have been influenced by Philippines and our culture as a whole. Evident signs of Noli Me Tangere. sombrero and a lot of Filipiniana inspired prints can be seen. Even the swimear of the guys have a touch of the Filipiniana concept which I find cool. What I liked the most is the Filipiniana set that made the female model so stunning. Add the sombrero with blak ribbon on it and she really looked great.

Lito Perez made us feel proud of being a Filipino. Good stuff, good designs.
