2011 IN REVIEW: THE HOTTEST 15 PHOTOGRAPHERS

Last year, it was Top 10. Now I can't seem to trim them down to 10 so I decided to showcase the 15 photographers whose works I have admired in the past year.

1. Jason Paul Laxamana Photography (Last Year: 8)
Jason hits with several concept shoots like the "Danum" series and the nude series where his models have writings all over their bodies. Ingenuine.

2. Ash Reginald Evasco Photography (Last Year: 4)
Ash Evasco has always delivered photos that have sharp and vivid visuals.  His photos focus more on the natural look of the models barely enhancing their shots.

3. Ian Felix Alquiros Photography (Last Year: 1)
Ian is not only a photog but also an enthusiast and an advocate. His "Love Yourself" project has been successful and continues to spread the word to all.

4. Ash Castro Photography (New Entry)
I only saw some of Ash Castro's pics in 2011 and was quickly mesmerized. The shots have an edgy feel with a chic and fab vibe as well.

5. The Manansala Photography (New Entry)
I normally see The Manansala Photography pics on fashion events and saw the greatness on their shots. All the right colors, texture and angles to come up with a beautiful pallette.

6. Ahleks Fusilero Photography (Last Year: 7)
Ahleks makes a good combination of traditional backgrounds and new look models to come up with a beautiful masterpiece.

7. Caloi Estanislao Photography (New Entry)
Caloi's pictures are sexy without exaggerating the fact. It seems he has a talent in making simple shots come up sexy. His "Waterborne" is definitely good.

8. JayD Ramos Photography (Last Year: 2)
More known for his Jayded series, JayD sure knows how to use angles and shadows well. His pictures come up with a certain degree of chic and glamour plus being sexy and tempting.

9. Michael Franks Photography (New Entry)
I knew Michael from Fashion Week and knows he shoots good pictures. But upon seeing his 2011 shots, I was just put into awe. Simple yet stunning.

10. Dan Santos Photography (Last Year: 3)
DSP knows how to make its models stand out in every picture. No matter how great the setting is, the model would most certainly come up even better.

11. Vic Fabe Photography (New Entry)
Vic Fabe is known for nurturing young talents and aspiring models. His shots are simple and natural yet packs some mysterious level that keeps you craving for more.

12. Raymond Cauilan Photography (New Entry)
It was only late 2011 that I saw some of Raymond's pics. And as the saying goes, the rest was history. He is a storyteller and it show in his shots.

13. Paul Cortes Photography (New Entry)
Young yet brave are few words I can describe Paul's pictures. His attack in his shots are a mixture of simplicity and sensuality. He certainly knows how to make the body stand out.

14. Van Mike Burgos (VMB) Photography (Last Year: 9)
VMB's pics are somewhat different from most pictures. It has a compelling imagery made out of an effective playing around with colors, hues and textures.

15. JR Sala Photography (Last Year:10)
Pictures are simple, natural and bright. And I also love the watermark.

The above photos remain to be properties of the respective photographers mentioned. This is just a list of who I think are the great photographers that wowed me in 2011.
