FASHION FOCUS: NICO AGUSTIN

Nico Agustin
Only few can stand out and those who do truly deserves it.
This is one thing that I can honestly say about Nico Agustin. At a young age, Nico has become one of the country's well loved designers for men's wear. What I like about Nico's design is the wearability factor. He creates ensembles that anyone from the upper society up to the yuppies and even fashion hungry teens can wear and truly put into good use. Lines, colors and styles are simply put very well on each piece setting up a design of exquisite taste and elegance.

His designs are often praised for great combinations and has been a fixture on some of the nation's magazines - Icon, Monday and Garage to name a few. And he has also dressed some of the stars in show like "Pilipinas Win na Win", "Party Pilipinas", "Magkaribal" and the Korean series "Domangja". He is a regular fixture in the Philippine Fashion Week alongside only the best designers in the land.

And he is doing all of these on top of his daily job at the British Embassy. Truly someone you could look up to embodying success on any profession. He makes us believe that we can excel on any area we want as long as we put heart into it. He finished both Consular and Diplomatic Affairs at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde as well as fashion design at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. Need I say more? I guess you're pretty impressed already. I am!
