MOVIE REVIEW: HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1

I want more! That's what I felt after watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Yes, audiences would truly ask for more as this first part of the last book leaves you hanging for more action. This film lets us join Harry, Ron and Hermione travel alone in search for Voldemort's source of ultimate power - Horcruxes. They embark on a journey to seek answers and finally get a way of beating Voldemort. You can see how the three have grown as they do the search without the help of their elders and their teachers.

This film has not much action sequences but is packed with a lot of mind bogglers and questions. One would think and also ask. We ourselves are drawn into conclusions and inferences sometimes wildest of guesses. We are ushered into the thinking side of the Harry Potter world.

And while it still has some action sequences in it, what is compelling on this one are the notable departures/deaths of a lot of characters. I don't want to spill the beans but there are some people you really love that will bite the dust in this flick. Sad but that's the way it goes. Notable characters on top of the 3 remain to be Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), Luna (Evanna Lynch) and Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton). And I simply love to hate Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter). Prepare to go for a lot of twists and turns on this film. For sure after watching this one, you'll ask for more. David Yates did a good job for this film. 4.5 out of 5 popcorns.

I can't wait for the last one on July 2011 and I'm sure that one would be wicked.
