MOVIE REVIEW: MEGAMIND

Dreamworks has scored yet another decent hit in Megamind but does it have the same charm as the other animated features that opened this year? Definitely! Another one of the villain with a good side cartoon much like "Despicable Me", Megamind is something hilarious and at the same time has heart.

What I loved the most is that the comedic timing of this film is impetious. The main character Megamind was wonderfully voiced by Will Ferrell and even damsel in distress Tina Fey as Roxanne was just hilarious. The charcater that hit me the most is Minion which showed how simple can still be funny. And after watching the film, I got LSS over the song "Lovin' You". Makes me laugh more when I remember how such love song was injected in a bad-ass scene. =)

Can the bad really become good? Yes, indeed. this film shows that one should never judge the book by its cover. One must be evaluated by what he/she truly is from within. And everyone of us should believe that despite the evilness of one, he/she has kindness somewhere in his/her heart. Actually if you're gonna see the film from the start, even Metro Man has some bad inside of him. Another thing that the  film reminds us is that we have choices. We are given the intellect to know which is good and bad and which we must choose or not. Definitely a must-see. 4 out of 5 popcorns.

  1. I also thought Megamind was hilarious. Minion was really a clever, funny character. I always catch on a side character for some reason... The movie LOOKS great, has an awesome script and the dubbing is super funny. Really a great watch! :)
