Finally we can hear them meow.CATS, the Musical is finally here and it is getting rave reviews as it topbills our very own Ms. Lea Salonga. Lea stars as Grizabella, the main "cat" in this musical. CATS boasts an impressive international cast of 53 people including cast, crew and a live band.
This musical is based on the novel by T.S Eliot which was published from 1939. It was adapted into theater by maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber. CATS tells the tale of a tribe of Jellicle CATS as they gather together for the annual Jellicle Ball. They each tell their stories for the entertainment of Old Deuteronomy who must choose one of the CATS to journey to the Heavyside Layer to be "reborn" into a new life.
