An essential part of exercise whether your main goal is to lose weight or to get fit is the cardio exercise. Cardio keeps blood pumping and is a good start to your total exercise routine. One of the most common equipments used for cardio training is the treadmill. Treads, as many people call it, is perfect for beginners. You can change pace and pre-program your work-out here. Intensity can also be adjusted by changing the incline. Higher incline means much more rigorous training. Aside from the benefits it provides for the heart and for one's stamina, there are several areas being targetted by the treadmill as well. Main muscles affected during the exercise are the glutes, calves, hamstrings and the core. So one's exercise should always include cardios. Choose your intensity and pace well and you are off to the best training program possible.
